Boy , the Art Blakey groups were really great . This song was written by Wayne Shorter , the tenor sax player at the time (probably around 1961).Lee Morgan played the trumpet with them at that time . I saw them at the Howard Theater in Washington DC around that time . The way Lee dressed and stood while he played .. haha , he was a fashion plate . The music was just excitiing . This was one of the tunes of that era which always makes me happy.
